Varsity Assistant - Brian Allfrey
Coach Allfrey grew up in West Jordan, where he attended West Jordan High School and played Varsity Basketball for three years. After high school he received a basketball scholarship to Snow College in Ephraim, UT. After finishing his career at Snow, Coach Allfrey started coaching at West Jordan Middle School. Coach Allfrey is currently the Executive Director of the Utah Press Association and enjoys a successful career in advertising.
Coach Allfrey has been married for 21 years to his wife Kim. They have three kids (two sons and a daughter), Trevon (18), Jackson (16) and Taylor (13). He started his coaching career at West Jordan Middle School before moving on to West Jordan High School. In total, he spent 12 years coaching in the West Jordan basketball program, including 2 State Championships games (2005 and 2009). He was a coach on the 2009 West Jordan State Championship team, while his son Trevon was a ball boy for that team. Coach Allfrey has spent the last couple years coaching his sons and starting competitive youth teams for kids in the Copper Hills / West Jordan area.
Coach Allfrey is excited to be coaching at Copper Hills High School. He lives within the high school boundaries and has been coaching kids who will play for CHHS.
